Estimator/Project Manager    

Currently seeking qualified individuals looking for full-time employment for an Estimator/Project Manager position responsible for organizing and controlling project elements. Ideal candidate must have desire to elevate into Project Management position.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site construction industry. (Knowledge of asphalt/paving/grading/concrete is a plus but not required.)
• Knowledge of estimating, construction and material costs, scheduling, various methods and installation procedures in site construction.
• Ability to work within and comply with proposal/bidding time constraints/deadlines, individually and in a team environment.
• Possess strong networking and business development skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and competitive work environment.
• Attention to detail while productively meeting goals.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to estimate multiple projects at a given time while communicating effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
• Utilize industry programs and technology to download plans and specifications and utilize them as tools to generate new business and work up estimates.
• Acquire and maintain healthy business relationships to increase bid opportunities in the regional market while also responsibnlr for bidf follow-up.
• Demonstrate prodiciency in the use and application of computer software/technology including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. (Knowledge of Bidmail and Dodgrer is a plus)
• Review drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions; record finding and combine material cost and labor to completed take offs and make recommendations.
• Regularly review project progress against its estimated budget and schedule and make any necessary adjustments to ensure project completion on schedule, whitin the budget, and at the required level of quality.
• Submit contract documents to admin for review and complete work plans and other required submittalds for awarded projects, as required.
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes to assist in formulating estimates and sending out bid proposals.
• Ensure technical, material, and labor cost accuracy while delivering on-time and on or under budget bids to customers that meet their specifications outlined in contracts.
• Visit project sites, evaluate site conditions, and make recommendations.
